“Forum Theatre Workshop Exploring Substance Misuse”

Suitable for students in years 9 and 10. Length 90 minutes.

 Available to secondary and special schools in East Sussex tour dates 5 - 16 July 2010- price free.

This workshop has been developed in collaboration with ESCC PHSE Team and East Sussex Under 19 Substance Misuse Team. It is designed to fit the PHSE curriculum ,by exploring the risks attached to substance misuse. Forum theatre takes using drama to explore life skills to a new level in its ability to capture the interest of the difficult to reach. By providing an opportunity to play with concepts and explore by experimentation with peers, young people start to live the possibilities.

Each workshop is 90 minutes in length and suitable for one class of students. Maximum number of 3 workshops per school, per day.

 This workshop is fully funded by ESCC Seedcorn Fund.
